  • Preservation, management, restoration, maintenance, digital archiving, image licensing, and active utilization of collections; organization of related exhibitions, workshops, and publications.
  • Planning, execution, coordination, and communication of collection and preservation operations.
  • Development and maintenance of the collection management system and digital content database.
  • Planning, installation, and maintenance of collection storage facilities and equipment.
  • Scientific analysis, preservation, maintenance, and restoration of collection items.
  • Research and planning related to the development of Taiwanese art and art information resources.
  • Other matters related to research and collections.
Education and Outreach Department
  • Research, promotion, and planning of art education programs; editing and publication of educational materials and periodicals.
  • Planning, execution, coordination, and communication of educational outreach projects and activities.
  • Design and implementation of public learning courses.
  • Planning and management of guided tour services.
  • Recruitment, management, and training of volunteers.
  • Maintenance and management of educational and learning facilities and equipment.
  • Planning and execution of venue rentals, cultural and creative operations, and marketing initiatives.
  • Planning and management of Friends of the Museum programs.
  • Research and planning related to children’s art.
  • Other matters related to education and outreach.
General Planning and Administration Office
  • Research, planning, and implementation of organizational and administrative procedures related to the establishment of the National Museum of Modern Art Tainan (MOMA Tainan).
  • Coordination and implementation of cross-departmental projects.
  • Management of secretarial, general affairs, information systems, research and evaluation, and legal affairs.
  • Maintenance and management of museum facilities and oversight of outsourced operations.
  • Other matters related to comprehensive planning and administrative management.
